Recital costumes are ordered in October of each new dance season. Dancers are measured in the weeks prior to ordering.
A written notice must received by the studio office by October 1st of the new dance season if a dancer is NOT PARTICIPATING in that season's recital performances.
Once recital costumes are ordered, a costume fee refund cannot be given and parents are responsible for payment for the costumes.
Costumes will only be distributed to dancers with an account that is current without any past due costume fees, monthly tuition, dance attire, dance shoes, etc.
Costumes will include the main costume attire, accessories, and a new pair of tights.
STUDIO PICTURE WEEK: All classes performing in the annual recital will have a class picture taken in the recital costume in the Spring. Individual dancer photos may be taken in any of the dancer's costumes. The studio photographer will have picture packages and other options for purchase of the class photo and any individual photos.
DRESS REHEARSAL & RECITAL PERFORMANCES
Bring ALL costumes, shoes and accessories to the Dress Rehearsal and Recital. THERE ARE NO EXTRAS! All costumes, shoes and accessories need to be labeled with your child’s name. There will be many dancers sharing the same dressing room space.
Make sure headpieces are secure with bobby pins, so they will not fall off on stage.
Please have plenty of bobby pins and safety pins. Elastics and strings must be secure on all ballet shoes.
NO UNDERGARMENTS ARE TO BE WORN UNDER TIGHTS!
